It all began in 2020.

Italian Wife Bakes was born during the height of the pandemic in 2020. We specialize in jams, jellies, marmalades and fruit butters direct from our home kitchen. Curating small batch flavor profiles with the use of fresh fruits and all-natural pectin is what differentiates us from the big box stores. Our selection is vast and ranges from your typical flavors to the more unique and adventurous combos like strawberry hibiscus and berry thyme. Our artisanal jams are infused with herbs, vinegars, teas and vanilla. Jams are great for toast and PB&J or go outside the box and use in cocktails, bbq sauces, desserts and much more! Italian Wife Bakes is a certified home processor in New York State.

Meet the Family

Kristin is creator of all the jams. I have a passion for creating unique flavors and love trying new combinations. Though I have no formal training as a cook I have always had a passion for cooking and baking. I love to garden and pretend I live in the country instead of the city with our 4 chickens and roof top garden!

John is the Italian. He hates jam but is required to taste test every batch! He does like sweets though so will gladly taste any sweet treats that are baked up for content! He is also the muscle of the business carrying cases of jars, bags of sugar and all heavy things!

Millie is the lead stirrer and labeler. She has watched mom grow this business since she was a year old. She loves to stir the pot before it goes on the stove (thats the extra love you taste in your jam!). She also likes to help in the labeling department. If your label is slightly off center or crooked it was most likely labeled by her! She will proudly tell you her mom makes jam or marmellata!
